I will take you for a short tour and a last look at the Jacob's Well Underpass | Subways in Bradford. This was filmed July 2023. AT THE TIME OF FILMING - The roundabout with subways will soon be filled in to create a new ‘super crossing’ as part of our ambitious plans to improve the city centre, with new traffic-free areas as well as new routes and facilities for public transport, walking and cycling. There will no longer be a need for a roundabout at Jacobs Well when Hall Ings becomes a new traffic-free linear park. The construction team are now using locally sourced recycled material made from crushed concrete, brick and stone which is being placed and compacted in layers to fill in the space and create a strong base for the future road surface for the new super crossing.
