We put the 90-Grain Xtreme Defense 9mm bullet up against a premium Hollow-Point 124-Grain bullet. We shot these bullets through the same Wilson Combat 4-inch Professional. For the test both bullets went through the same plywood barrier and into a 20-inch ballistic gelatin. The result proved that while Hollow-Points clog and will not expand if shot through a barrier, the Xtreme Defense is truly barrier blind. We used a high speed camera for this test at 4000 frames per second.
