Magenta is a Lie!! In this video I explain how we perceive color and why as a result there is no way to make a pink or magenta laser. Along the way I explain some of the basics of color theory and how human vision works. There's a couple of demonstrations I do using the RGB channels of a computer screen to demonstrate how just those three colors can simulate any color on the rainbow but also explain some of the limitations of computer/phone/TV screens.
