My 2001 C5 Corvette is bone-stock with the exception of a cold-air intake and this cat-back exhaust system. The Corvette still has its factory H-pipe and catalytic converters. The Borla S-Type Classic, when equipped with the factory C5 Corvette H-pipe is a good mild sounding exhaust with really no drone. It has a powerful and muscular sound that is not overpowering by any means. I would rate it a 2 or 2.5 out of 5 on a scale of loudness.
