When considering how to approach the game's mission, I've found it helpful to consider the slowest units / paths to reach the mission objectives. This time it was the engineers. The distance they have to run is significant, and obviously they are a very slow unit. It struck me that if I cleared the other side of the river first it would allow them to reach their goals as fast as they could run - that is to say as fast as it is possible to clear the mission. I had to quickly clear the units, leading with the Commando to kill the infantry and following with the Zone Troopers to deal with the vehicles. This allowed me to reach the scouting objective and trigger the Engineering Team quickly. It was then just a case of mopping up that side, whilst using the remaining initial infantry to clear the city and bolster the bridge area. This allowed the engineer(s) access to the power plant. It was just a case of timing really - not destroying the Scrin Drone Ship too early and making it to the scouting objective. I have to say I really enjoyed this one!
