"We are defined by what we can control. Love is out of control." Still just celebrating everything that was episode 3x08. When I first picked this song, I had this whole plan of what I was going to do. Then the concept I went into this video with was thrown promptly out the door when I actually got into editing. I ended up trying to look at where things started, and by that I mean where things first began to fall apart. I think the trauma of Michael's injury, both physically and psychologically, is such a rich topic to explore. I also think that the scene with Michael and Alex destroying the toolshed is possibly one of my favorite scenes in the show because of how it really marks movement forward past that trauma. There was no way for them to move forward without destroying the thing that held them back. The joy of being able to end this on a happy note as opposed to with a "TBD" in terms of their relationship is indescribable. Hope you enjoy!
