The PT-76-57 pairs a stabilized 57mm autocannon to the PT-76 chassis, while also upgrading the engine and providing it with a laser rangefinder. At a battle rating of 7.7, the PT-76-57 mostly fights vehicles that don't have a stabilizer at all. So even if the PT can't get flank a vehicle and comfortably destroy it in one shot to the side, it can still break the target's barrel before it can react.
