GBO2 Gundam GP02 BB: It can fly now?!

This video contains two matches I had with the recently buffed Gundam GP02 Beam Bazooka on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 550-700 cost raid with very powerful melee, a heavy staggering beam bazooka, very high mobility, great stun accumulation and some of the best mid-air mobility for 550 cost outside of full flight MS such as Byarlant. Its weaknesses would be low HP not counting the shield, having slow walking and turning speed, being quite large along with lacking Damage Control or Emergency Evasion. This suit needed a buff for a while but this recent one made it quite strong. It got LV1 Flap Booster to have some level of flight ability, LV3 Flight Control to easily adjust mid-air, less heat and cooldown time for the beam bazooka and more downswing power. I think it is a very map specific suit and is unsuited for open maps or those without elevation, but on the right maps it can absolutely wreak havoc. I hope that you enjoy watching! Its primary weapon is a beam bazooka with 3000 (4000) power, 80% (95%) heat, 5.5 seconds cooldown, 23 seconds overheat, 1 second swap time, 450m (500m) range, 5.5 seconds focus time and 80% stagger value. This has high power and fair heat uncharged but charged shots gains higher power, piercing and heavy stagger. It isn't always ideal to use the heavy stagger but if used at the right time then you can take on just about anybody. Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2800 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, 70%/49% combo modifier, 100% side swing modifier and 120%x2 downswing modifier. The downswing is extremely powerful but you cannot combo into another full downswing on a downed opponent. It has good combo modifier but due to the very high power of the downswing it is barely worth it to use 2-3 swings if you want higher damage output. Its first sub weapon is a head mounted vulcan with 90 power, 60 ammo, 600 RPM, 6 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 200m range, 900 DPS and 6% stagger value. This is absolutely amazing for a vulcan gun with fast accumulation, high DPS and better range than normal. This can stagger normal enemies in about 1.7 seconds but it is also useful to finish off low HP ones. It also has an extra large shield with 20000 HP. This has great coverage and can absorb a lot of damage for you, though it makes your overall hitbox bigger at the same time so you are easier to accumulate with stun as a result. Once broken it boosts walking and turning speed by 30%, giving you 149 walking speed and 70 turning speed. You will probably be low HP if this shield ever breaks but you basically become the fastest thing at 550 cost when it does. The LV1 GP02 BB has 16000 HP and 24 in every resist. It has a good defence spread but the HP is rather low considering the size and cost. This is made even worse by the fact that you will probably be building some field motors to make up for the low turning speed, reducing the amount of slots you have for HP or resistance parts. It has LV2 Maneuver Armor as is standard for this cost but lacks Emergency Evasion. It doesn't get Damage Control to make up for this weakness unlike some other raids such as Hazel II. It also has 115 walk speed, 225 boost speed, 75 thrust and 54 turning speed. Walking and turning are quite low until the shield breaks, but boosting speed and the suits amount of thrust are both great. What makes it truly stand out though is its array of mobility related skills. These include LV1 Flap Booster which allows you to rise up into the air if you hold L1 while boosting (at the cost of extra thrust usage), LV2 Forced Injectors, LV3 Flight Control and LV3 Glide Structure. This is a huge advantage on maps with suitable elevation such as City Ruins or Arctic Base, allowing you to assault enemies below you with ease. Overall I think that the GP02 BB has become a strong but map specific MS. It has amazing mid-air ability, great stagger ability and insane damage, but it is easy to accumulate and kill it due to the size. On maps like Impact Site, Trenches or Tropical Desert I think it will be weak due to them lacking many places for you to take advantage of Flap Booster. It is pretty easy to get walled out or stopped by the powerful shooting of 550 cost generals on these maps as well. But if you stick to maps like City Ruins, Arctic Base or Military Base then you can make use of the available elevation to retreat from danger or as a place to stage assaults from as needed. Not many suits at all can deal with a GP02 BB that comes out of nowhere with a heavy stagger charged and ready to confirm into the powerful melee. I don't think I can recommend it for beginners, but for more experienced players I think this suit can do a lot now. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
