My good friend, grand-master Keith R. Kernspecht, is teaching his internal version of WingTsun these days. GM Kernspecht is 75 years old. His student Kaan is 30+ years younger, much heavier, of greater muscle mass and certainly more powerful. Yet Kaan, like the other ~60,000 students of the EWTO, cannot move GM Kernspecht or go past his hands. Strength vs. Skill. This is, of course, just a friendly demonstration of body-mechanics. An exercise to help students learn how to ground their bodies better and rob an opponent of its energy. It is not even a combative drill, though it is important and essential for understanding the intricacies of the system.
