Deep Carry Safety | Draw and Reholster Techniques

Here's how to draw and reholster your gun safely when deep carrying with the PHLster Enigma. "Deep carry," or "deep concealment," is when part or all of the gun's grip is below the waistband of the pants. While deep carry often conceals better on some body types than traditional AIWB or IWB, there are also some important safety and access considerations to keep in mind. 1. Never cross any part of your body with the muzzle of the gun. 2. Keep your support hand close to the body until your hands meet on the grip. Don't "chase" the pistol with your support hand, or you could muzzle your hand on the draw. 3. When reholstering, anchor your elbow to your body to help control muzzle direction. 4. Stop, look, and clear the mouth of your holster before beginning the reholstering process. 5. Never allow the muzzle of your gun to point at any part of your body at any time.
