Only place one. 4 - Now place pebbles into the storage. Every pebble will be converted to the item your trying to duplicate. You can buy a full stack of pebbles from the messenger and overflow will automatically go to storage and convert to the item you're duplicating. NOTE - You can only duplicate items where multiple items stack. This means you can't dupe weapons or items where the max quantity is one. You can duplicate molotov's, health potions, blood stones, etc. Having more than one type of item in the storage mixes things up a bit so keep it to one type. This is much better than farming blood echos for hours on ends. If it stops working go back to your second character and remove the pebble from storage and place it back in storage then return to your main character.
