Danza de los Voladores Danza de los Voladores, or the Dance of the Flyers, is a traditional Mexican ceremony where five people climb a tall wooden pole. One person stays on top playing a flute and drum, while the other four, tied with ropes, jump off and spin around the pole as they slowly come down to the ground, like birds flying.
