FRV. Go Ahead London Route 5. Canning Town Stn - Romford Market. Enviro400 Trident E126 (LX09 FCC)

Todays video is an FRV on the route 5 from Canning Town Bus Station to Romford Market. Back when these tridents were starting to be transferred to RR I managed to fetch this one on the route. It’s been a long while since the route had last seen tridents on it and I’m so happy that they have returned! It’s quite funny how the previous batch of tridents we had (57/08) were also from Merton (AL) lol. The driver was actually really good and he kicked the bus a lot lol. Although most of the Kickdown was from pullaway, it was still pretty good. And ofc once again, I did a route during rush hour and to add to that it was the 5 lmao. The route was extremely long and it got so boring after Barking lol. Although after Becontree Heath I do like the route. I managed to survive being in Romford whilst the romfordians were still out and about and I’m very grateful for that :) Anyways I actually do recommend this route and I’d rate it a 6/10. Route 5 travels through: Canning Town, Plaistow Police Station, Upton Park/ Boleyn, Newham Town Hall, Barking Town Centre, Barking, Fair Cross/ Barking Bus Garage, Bennett’s Castle Lane, Heathway, Becontree Heath, Queen’s Hospital, Romford Station, Romford Market Operated by: Go Ahead London Garage: River Road (RR) Allocation: LTs and EHs PVR: 28 Length: 10miles (16km) Journey Time: 1hr 29mins Frequency: 6-10mins Runs from 05:30 to 01:00 Night Bus: N15 #fortheloveofbuses #londonbuses #2023
