Kevin Mitnick is an author and expert at hacking, for which he has served time behind bars. Mitnick is now one of the world's leading information technology security consultants. He is widely known as the world's most famous hacker. Fox 5 interviewed him about Internet privacy. He explains how he first got started as a hacker and how he wrote a program to steal his teacher's password -- when he was a junior in high school. At the time, doing such a thing wasn't even illegal. In fact, his teacher praised him for his ingenuity. "It's kind of scary because if you're living a legitimate life in the United States of America, it would take me 60 seconds on my laptop right here on this laptop to basically look up your Social Security number, your mother's maiden name, your date of birth, your last 10 addresses, your cell phone number and your landline number," he told Fox 5. "That's because all our information in America is for sale!"
