A few years ago I got a handcycle to be able to join them, but soon realized that the handcycle is limiting because it does not allow me to take my wheelchair with me when we go places. There's nothing worse that being stuck to my handcycle if I need to pee or if the kids decide they want to go into a store or something. My solution to the problem was to look for an electric scooter attachment for my wheelchair that would provide the speed and convenience I was looking for. A Batec was on my wish list but the price was just too high so I opted for a version I found on Amazon. So far it has done the job and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a cost effective way to increase their mobility.
