In Ceylan’s trademark visual rhythms, mysteries stack upon mysteries in an enigmatic journey through a landscape, a murder, and a chiaroscuro night. In the dead of night, a police commissioner, a prosecutor, a doctor and a murder suspect drive through the tenebrous Anatolian countryside. They are searching for a corpse, the victim of a brutal murder.
