Each style is explained with different leaders’ examples. Autocratic Leadership. It is the style of leadership where the leader is independent in deciding for his organization. Transactional Leadership. It is a type of leadership style that focuses on supervision, organization, and employee performance. Bureaucratic Leadership. It can be defined as a system of management that follows a hierarchy where official duties are fixed. Charismatic Leadership. It involves the charisma of the leader to be involved in persuading the followers. Transformational Leadership. It is a leadership style in which leaders encourage, inspire and motivate employees to innovate and create change that will help grow and shape the future success of the company. Coaching Leadership. It focused on bringing out the best in their teams by guiding them through goals and obstacles. Democratic Leadership. It is further known as the participatory leadership style where participants take the role in the decision-making process. Collaborative Leadership. In this style, multiple leaders come along rather than a single leader who is unable to carry on the work on his own. Servant Leadership. It is a leadership philosophy built on the belief that the most effective leaders strive to serve others, rather than accrue power or take control. Laissez-Faire Leadership. In this type of style, the leader doesn’t instruct their followers or employees but rather develops trust and reliance upon them concerning decision making.
