Great Bay Temple Walkthrough (With Stray Fairies) - The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Walkthrough

Having the double Magic Meter upgrade is very helpful with this temple, but it's not necessary as you can find Magic Jars everywhere throughout it. Also, you can find bombs, arrows, and a recovery fairy inside the barrels next to the Giant Turtle. Mini-boss #1 - Wart (5:50): The easiest way to fight Wart is by destroying most of the bubbles surrounding him and then shooting his open eye with the bow or Hookshot. You can knock off the bubbles with a bomb or by spinning into them as Deku Link. Then pop them with either your sword or by spinning into them as Deku Link. When you do enough damage to Wart, he'll start charging around the room. Wait in a corner with your bow ready and shoot his open eye when you get the chance. I killed him with the sword, but I don't particularly recommend fighting him that way because you're likely to get hit. Keep shooting his eye until he is defeated. Your reward for defeating him is the Ice Arrow. Mini-boss #2 - Gekko and Mad Jelly (11:19): The Deku Mask is very helpful because you can spin through the Mad Jelly blobs as well as stun Gekko for a short moment. When Gekko goes to the ceiling you'll be able to see the shadow of Mad Jelly on the ground. Get as far away from the shadow as possible otherwise you'll get sucked into Mad Jelly when he lands. You need to freeze Mad Jelly with an Ice Arrow so that when he falls, he'll shatter. It will only work when Mad Jelly is completely on the ceiling, though. Shooting him any earlier than that will only make him splatter, not shatter. I recommend letting Gekko and Mad Jelly fall so that you can easily have an Ice Arrow prepared for them once they're all the way back on the ceiling. When Mad Jelly shatters go and attack Gekko. Keep fighting them this way until you defeat them. You'll be rewarded with the Boss Key. Boss - Gargantuan Masked Fish: Gyorg (23:57): Gyorg can very easily do a lot of damage so I highly recommend having at least one bottled fairy and also visiting Great Bay's Fairy Fountain if you got all of the Stray Fairies. When fighting Gyorg spend as little time in the water as possible. Find Gyorg and Z-Target him. If you don't know where he is then look for bubbles. When you have him Z-Targeted, shoot him with an arrow to stun him. When he is stunned, put on the Zora Mask and swim into him with your electric barrier. After enough damage, Gyorg will spit out little fish that are easily defeated with the electric barrier. Keep fighting him the same way until he is defeated. Gyorg has a couple of attacks. If you hear him charging, try to get to the center of the platform to avoid being knocked in the water. If you're in the water then Gyorg can grab you with his mouth and do quite a bit of damage. Gyorg will also jump over the platform in an attempt to hit you off or put his mouth on top of the platform to try to grab you. Try to get away from him in either case.
