European Studies at the University of Gothenburg

European studies is a diverse subject that contains endless possibilities for a creative mind. Where you go and what you do with the knowledge you gain is up to you. The notion that one is free to shape ones future career is many times somewhat scary and confusing. We wanted to make a movie that showed how our alumni have used the knowledge gained and gone about to shape the future of Europe - Johanna Sjöström, Alumni, project leader This film is a product of our ambition to develop a strong alumni network for both our students and alumni to enjoy. The film can also be viewed as a product of a survey (2013) where we present our alumni experience of their studies as well as the translation this had in to their professional lives. The survey was presented at our website (in Swedish). Bachelor and Master programmes in European Studies organised by the Centre for European Studies (CES), Department of Political Science, University of Gothenburg. Apply to Europaprogrammet (three-year Bachelor programme in swedish) or to MAES - Master of European Studies (two year Master programme in english), with the special option for double degree studies in collaboration with Konstanz University.
