This 1968 Ford Fairlane 500 represents the peak of both style and performance, wrapping up a 4-barreled V8 under the hood in conjunction with one of the best car designs the 1960s had to offer. Powered by a 302 C.I. V8 breathing through a 4-barrel carburetor, this '68 Fairlane makes for one fantastic muscle cruiser. Torque is put to the pavement through a smooth-shifting 3-speed automatic transmission allowing this car to do it all, from highway cruising to simple trips around town. Arguably one of the best designs of the '60s and only around for two model years from '68 to '69, this '68 Fairlane is the real deal. The exterior is gorgeously covered in the correct "Royal Maroon" paint, an older repaint that's got a couple chips and some minor imperfections in the clearcoat. However, that does nothing to detract from the fact that this Fairlane is still a spectacular-looking car, with gleaming chrome brightwork and those beautiful bodylines!
