The Surge - All Nano Core Locations (Right Tool for the Job & Man of Steel Trophies/Achievments)

In this one I will be showing you all the locations where you can get Nano cores which are needed to get your Mark 4 weapons and gear to mark 5, unlocking the trophies Right tool for the Job, and Man of Steel. For right tool for the job you will need to upgrade one weapon to mark 5, and for man of steel you will need to upgrade an entire gear set to mark 5. Each location shown will give you 2 nano cores, so by the end you will have 16. The first location is in the Abandoned Production right beside the medbay. Follow the path to get to the power circuit that require 55 core power to unlock it. The second one is located in the Material Depot area of the Central production B zone. As you come down the stairs, turn left twice and power the circuit needing 75 core power. The 3rd one is located beside the Vending Machine that the Vending Machine cultists are praying to in the Central production B zone. Follow the path taken in the video to get there. You will need 60 core power this one. The 4th one is located in the Conveyor hub area of Central Production B. Follow the path in the video to get to the location. I personally didn’t have enough core power to unlock this one when I recorded the footage and I totally forgot to get it in that playthrough. My apologies. The 5th one is located in the Laboratories of the Resolve Biolabs zone. You will have to come to a lab area underground with plants encased in glass boxes. This is the same place where you will need to take an elevator to the greenhouse. To the left of the elevator you can find the power circuit requiring 80 core power. The 6th one is located in the Research and Development area. After you meet Barrett for the first time, you will proceed to a large room with 3-4 enemies. Deal with them and you will find a power circuit in the mid corner of the room requiring 65 core power. The 7th one is located in the Server room of the Executive Area. This is directly beside the Board Room which you will have to go inside as part of the story. Right beside the board room to the left as you exit, there will be a door requiring a scan of you to open. Go inside and follow the path to the server room. At the back right corner of the room you will find the power circuit requiring 85 core power to open. The 8th and final one is located in the Nucleus particularly in the 2nd floor after getting the medbay platform to the 2nd floor. From the medbay go forward past the two proteus units into a room filled with gas that will slowly drain your health. Here you will have to fight a drone and a chrysalis enemy. Once you defeat them follow the path to a lift. Go to the end of the path to fight another proteus unit. Once you deal with it, the power circuit requiring 50 core power is right there on the platform. Now that you have all the nano cores, just upgrade any weapon using the nano core from mark 4 to Mark 5 and the trophy Right tool for the Job will unlock. For Man of steel, choose any gear set to upgrade from mark 4 to mark 5 and the trophy will unlock. Remember it has to be the whole set, meaning a helmet, 2 arm pieces, 2 leg pieces, and the chest piece from a set.
