I purchased this 1/4" Super Spreader Cast net to use for catching small bait fish. During certain times of the year I fish with green back shiners. Only about five of the little green backs got caught in the net. You will see up close footage of the net full of bait fish. I also took the time to edit in some underwater footage of what the fish looked like in the net. You can clearly see that the 1/4" netting provides great protection from smaller bait getting caught in the webbing. This net will work great for bluegill, shiners, grunts, small mullet, pilchards or any other bait fish that is about three inches long. I am glad I found this affordable cast net.
