While in Shanghai I sat in my hotel room with make up artist Yuka Washizu before a huge day of shooting beauty with Estee Lauder to show you exactly what we do before 8 hours of make up make up make up! STEP 1 ⇨ Lip scrub - I usually call the hotel for honey & sugar. STEP 2 ⇨ Moisturize lips - Overdo it & let it soak in while you're working on your skin. STEP 3 ⇨ Clean your hands. Really should have put this at the beginning! STEP 4 ⇨ Apply toner on your entire face. STEP 5 ⇨ Apply generous amount of serum along your entire face - this is also acting as a massage. I am using Estee Lauder's ANR. STEP 6 ⇨ Self administered lymphatic drainage massage. + Find the almond behind your jaw, massage and press 4-8 times + Move down neck and collarbone, and drain + Move up bridge of nose to the center of your forehead & out, drain + Press under eyes and up to temples, drain + Move along smile lines, drain + Move along jaw line with a pinch motion and drain STEP 7 ⇨ Moisturizer, focusing where you need it the most. For me - under the eyes! STEP 8 ⇨ Eye drops. Moisturize everything.
