#howrah #ramrajatala #kolkata রামরাজাতলার জোড়া রাম। রামরাজাতলায় নতুন রাম | New Ram Of Ramrajatala বাংলার এই রামপুজো প্রায় ২৫০ বছরেরও বেশি পুরনো।হাওড়ার রামরাজাতলা এলাকায় তাঁর মন্দির।বলা বাহুল্য,ওই জায়াগার নামও শ্রীরামের নামানুসারেই। তবে তাঁকে রাজা বলেই সম্বোধন করেন এলাকাবাসী। পবিত্র রামনবমী তিথিতেই তাঁর পুজো শুরু হয়। তারপর প্রায় ৪ মাস(শ্রাবণ মাসের শেষ রবিবার অবধি)ধরে চলে মেলা।বাংলার অন্যতম দীর্ঘ মেলা হিসেবেও মনে করা হয় এই মেলাকে।প্রথমেই বলতে হয় গাত্রবর্ণের কথা। রামের প্রচলিত মূর্তিতে তাঁর গায়ের রঙ নীল। তবে হাওড়ার এই রামঠাকুরের রঙ সবুজ; রয়েছে পুরুষ্টু গোঁফও।তবে অস্ত্র বলতে ধনুকই দেখা যায় এই মূর্তীতেও। সম্পূর্ণ মূর্তিটা প্রায় দোতলা বাড়ির সমান।তবে শুধু রাম একা নন।আরও অনেক দেবদেবীর মূর্তী দেখা যায় একইসঙ্গে। অনেকটা এক কাঠামোর দুর্গামূর্তীর মতোই প্রভু রামকে ঘিরে থাকে আরও অনেক মূর্তি।রামের একেবারে বামপাশে থাকেন মা সীতা।আর ডানপাশে থাকেন মহাদেব।এছাড়াও ব্রহ্মা সহ আরও ২৬টি দেবেদেবীর মূর্তি থাকে এই বিশালাকার রাম ঠাকুরের মূর্তিতে।যার মধ্যে রয়েছেন,জগদ্ধাত্রী,নারদ,হনুমান,মুনি ঋষি আরও অনেকেই। তবে শ্রীরামের মূর্তির ঠিক উপরে থাকে দেবী সরস্বতীর মূর্তি।এই জায়গায় সরস্বতী মূর্তি থাকার এক বিশেষ কারণ রয়েছে।কথিত আছে,এই অঞ্চলের জমিদার ছিলেন অযোধ্যারাম চৌধুরী।তাঁরই গৃহদেবতা ছিলেন শ্রীরাম। একদিন তিনি স্বপ্নে প্রভু রামের দর্শন পান।সেই স্বপ্নাদৃষ্ট রামের আদলেই তিনি এই বিশালাকায় মূর্তি তৈরি করেন তিনি।তারপর হাওড়ার এই অঞ্চলে তাঁর পুজো শুরু করেন। পুজো ঘিরে আরও অনেক জনশ্রুতি রয়েছে। তবে কথিত আছে, প্রভুর ঠিক মাথার উপর সরস্বতী রাখার নিদান দিয়েছিল স্থানীয় এক ব্রাহ্মণ গোষ্ঠী।পুজোর সময় দূরদুরান্ত থেকে ভক্তরা এসে ভিড় জমান এই মন্দিরে। রীতিমতো উৎসব চলে কয়েক মাস। This Ram Puja of Bengal is more than 250 years old.
