🎙 Recorded on 8th February 2021 in my room in London, UK, during lockdown. Ian Clarke is a British flutist, composer and teacher. He has established himself as one of the UK's most innovative flutists with a particular interest in contemporary works and techniques. "Deep Blue" is one of the many of his pieces adored by audiences across the globe. As professor Ian Clarke's flute student, I had the honour to have worked on it with the composer himself which was an invaluable experience. Making a recording of this piece was particularly personal to me, as this is the kind of music very close to my heart.
