Sienna Belanger-Lee a 22 year old Indigenous woman who’s story is important because many Indigenous people feel they must leave the reserve to have opportunities for a good future. This is a half hour documentary about a series of life changing events discribed by Mariel Belanger and Sienna Belanger-Lee. Sienna finds a deeper meaning to her life with wild horses when a raging forest fire threatens not just her home, but her new equine family. Reconnecting to family, culture and land, in this coming-of-age story, horses heal and women come together.
