We are excited to be introducing Aerial Yoga at Maha Pura. Aerial Yoga uses a silk hammock to provide support and balance. In this video, Alex Harrington and Carolyn Weatherson demonstrate some of the fun things we do in a typical Aerial Yoga class at Maha Pura. Our introductory class is designed to familiarize you with aerial yoga. No previous yoga experience or aerial experience is required. The classes will guide you through the use of the hammock for support on the ground and gradually and gently introduce you to aerial poses and inversions. Classes are appropriate for all fitness levels. If you are looking to expand your existing yoga practice, or interested in trying something fun and different, give aerial yoga a try.
