(Partial) 1991 Daytona 500 Review

It must be said, first of all, that my tape did not include the first 40 laps of this race. There were two wrecks that were missed as a result, and since it was an ESPN Classic replay of the race, they also skipped a late wreck with Richard Petty. Ol' reliable BMB5150 has the race in its entirety over at his channel. When I think of Daytona 500's, this one definitely does not come to mind as one of the more memorable ones. Sure, Irvan was a bit of an upset, and the late wreck between Allison, Earnhardt and Kyle Petty kinda cemented how hard Earnhardt would have to work to win this thing, it really wasn't that spectacular a race. At least, I don't think of it as such! Still, a cool win by Ernie Irvan.
