Join us as we move on from the mountains to the lakes as part of our early retirement adventure in our VW Campervan. We discover and spend the night at possibly the most beautiful and deserted mountain lake in the French Alps and then head off to one of the most popular lakeside holiday locations the region has to offer. More hiking, cycling, wild swimming and exploring the places off the beaten track. We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We have chosen to early retire from teaching during the summer of 2022 at the age of 51. We are currently on a 3 week trip to the Alps, with no plans just our desire to find the hidden wild places.
