Hello :) This is the requested transcription I've done of the Joe Cocker version of the song "The Letter" This recording is from Joe Cocker:Mad Dog's and Englishmen tour - Live at The Fillmore East/1970. The bass player on this track was Carl Radle. You can find this transcription and the play-along at Muzento when you sign up with an Intermediate Lesson Plan. I went back and forth on whether I was going to do a video for this one. I was worried that it would lose momentum in the parts where the bass is resting. But, I really liked what he played and there's a definite energy in this recording, so I decided to do it. I did something I don't normally do in transcriptions. I added some notes. I've added "optional" parts and at the very end I put in a little something to go underneath the singers.
