De La Salle High School Baseball vs College Park. 2024 NCS Semifinals - Highlights

The Spartans scored six unanswered runs to overcome a 3-1 deficit and advance to the NCS Division I Championship game for the 12th consecutive time with a 7-3 semifinal win versus College Park yesterday. Senior Jamie Mullin made an incredible diving play to turn the momentum in the top of the fifth inning as the Spartans scored twice in the bottom of the fifth inning to tie the game and four times in the sixth inning to take the lead. Sophomore Bubba Vargas had the pivotal two-run single to put the Spartans in front while Tyler Spangler, Jack Harper, and Hank Tripaldi all had two-hit games. Winning pitcher Jack Karst along with Tommy Curran tossed two and two-thirds innings of relief to secure the win. De La Salle will next play at Monte Vista High School Friday at 5pm for the NCS Division I Championship versus nationally ranked Granada.
