Update 5 has finally released to the public after what felt like eternity. After struggling to get into a server, I decided to grow a Ptera and try to hunt some hatchlings! This video shows my first attempt and ultimately my last... This was on an EU server, which I tend to avoid (I blame the ping for my death :p), so I took such a risk just for fun! Just as a side note, this is the only time I really see the Ptera's latch mechanic being useful. It's a great tool for setting up ambushes and planning an attack without losing stamina. So far I haven't experienced many bugs (except for the flying fish) or any major performance problems, which is nice. Some areas of the map still manage to tank my FPS, especially when there are large groups of people/dead bodies. After waiting a very, very, very... very long time for this update I am glad to be playing the Isle again. Hopefully the long wait between updates is over (we all know that won't happen lol).
