2. Watercolour Equipment - An Introduction for Beginners

Painting in watercolour - it’s not easy knowing how to get started. There is so much equipment available and from so many different brands. In this video I guide you through the most important products that you will need to get started - they won’t break the bank and they are excellent quality. There a three important points to keep in mind when buying the watercolour equipment you need: 1. It’s all about personal taste - experiment and go with what works for you and you feel comfortable with, not just what your favourite professional painters use; 2. Buy the best quality equipment that you can comfortably afford; 3. There is no magic in the equipment that you buy - none of it will make you a better painter! The work of experienced painters is the result of years of practice, not the equipment they have used. Below are links to the equipment that I have mentioned in this video.
