(CLICK on the LINK) The 15769 / 15770 Alipurduar Jn - Lumding Jn - Alipurduar Intercity Express running between Alipurduar (West Bengal) and Lumding (Assam) is now extended between Lumding and Mariani Jn (Assam) by way of Furkating Jn - Golaghat - Numaligarh - Jorhat Town - Mariani Jn w.e.f. 16th of June, 2024. The first trip i.e. 15769 Alipurduar - Lumding Intercity Express reached Mariani Jn on 16th June, 2024; while the train in the video i.e. 15770 Mariani - Alipurduar Intercity Express departed from Mariani Jn for the first time on June 17th, 2024. The locomotive hauling the train is 4500hp EMD Freight Locomotive WDG4 12371 of DLS Siliguri (SGUJ), NFR. The train will depart from Mariani every morning at 9:15 hrs, reaching Jorhat Town at 9:45 hrs and Furkating at 11:40 hrs. The same train will touch Lumding at 15:30 hrs and Guwahati at 19:05 hrs, finally reaching Alipurduar by midnight at 00: 50 hrs. In the return journey, the train will start early in the morning at 3:45 hrs from Alipurduar, touching Guwahati and Lumding at 9:40 hrs and 13:20 hrs respectively. Then it will go to Mariani by way of Golaghat - Numaligarh - Jorhat, reaching Furkating and Jorhat Town at 17:20 hrs and 18:45 hrs respectively, and finally reaching Mariani Jn at 20:00 hrs at night.
