Here’s a video for my recent single Sleepless Walk. I wrote this about realising that I’ve been using alcohol to try and numb myself to difficult feelings and emotions and understanding that I’ve often put myself in scary situations by doing that. It’s meant to evoke the feeling of walking late at night after drinking somewhere, anywhere really, and suddenly having a moment of clarity where I’ve been conscious that I’m not fully in control and exposed to potential dangers. I’ve felt like I’m stuck in this loop and repeated this behaviour too many times. It’s about being aware that you’re out of control but feeling like you can’t fix it in the moment. I’ve changed that recently and hope that anyone going through something similar is able to do the same. Hope you like the tune 😊
