On this GEAR & DEMOS SHOW, we're continuing our GUITAR MODS SQUAD Series with Ep. 2 of CC's Kramer Baretta Special that we're modding into an EVH 5150 "inspired" Superstrat. CC wanted me to show others that this could be a fun project that can be done by anyone with some help from their Mods Squad Friends... that should not only inspires you to play, but help you learn how a guitar works. Taking it apart and putting it back together, while examining the difference between the cheaper vs better quality parts, helps a guitarist understand how and why a guitar plays better or worse. As an amateur guitarist myself, what better way to learn all about this than by doing it... and what's more fun than taking you along the ride with me, right?!? I'll have some friends on the show to help with advice and commentary... Johnny Beane, Brent "Octopus Ears" and our guitar building friend, Ron Kaluger of FRETworks Guitar Repair... who's going to give CC's guitar a once over before sending it to him.
