2022 XC - NXN Documentary: The Boys 2022 Championship Race

In this hdRunners documentary, we take an in-depth look at the 2022 NXN Boys Cross Country Championship, focusing on individual champion Aaron Sahlman and the championship team from Newbury Park. Aaron's win was his first in a cross country race -- and it was a big one! He became the third consecutive Newbury Park athlete to be the national individual champion, following Nico Young (NXN 2019) and brother Colin Sahlman (2021 Runninglane) - there was no 2020 national race due to COVID and NXN was not held in 2021. Newbury Park also won consecutive national team championships in each of those years. We share interviews with Aaron and Newbury Park coach Tanya Brosnan, and include commentary by Lex Young, Leo Young and official NXN announcers Rich Gonzalez, Paul Swangard, Tom Feuer, and Galen Rupp. We also share some behind the scenes extras that we think you'll enjoy.
