Hi Everyone, Thank you for joining me and in this video where I talk more about the unique nature of the blow! This was intended to be test for a tray, but turns out, I just made a set of four coasters here. I really like the color combination and that it exudes a wintry beach vibe feel, but it just didn’t seem right for a tray. The cell reaction in this set was amazing though! Again, I want to thank all subscribers, new and the frequent fliers, for the continued support and encouragement through my YouTube channel. My goal is to show a succinct video of my process, what I know, provide tips, often with some philosophy and a few nature videos sprinkled in. I usually share about three per week and try different things along the way. The details: Pillow paint: I used my dripping for these, scraped up, strained through a nylon and reconditioned with a little water for a 4-5 second trace consistency. Slightly light gray in color. My pouring medium (PM) is the usual Glidden semi gloss ultra deep base GLN6413N: Minwax Gloss 3:1 ratio. My paints/colors. HOW I MIX: I add the PM to a cup and then the color, starting with about 3 parts PM: 1 part color/paint. Once mixed, I adjust the consistency from there. If too thick I add more min wax and a touch of water (if needed), if too thin I add more Glidden GLN6413N and if not thick enough, I add Liquitex Gloss Gel or leave the lid off for a while to thicken up the paint. Colors: 1. Decoart 24 K gold with a smidge of leftover Golden Iridescent Gold 2. Arteza Pearl Sky Blue 3. Liquitex Bright Aqua Green 4. Golden Florescent Pink with some Zinc white to lighten up 5. Golden Payne's Gray 6. Artist Lofts Metallic Blue Cell Activator - American Floetrol Recipe: Amsterdam’s oxide black, also Amsterdam’s titanium white American Floetrol-50% Paint-25% Water-25% MinWax Wood conditioner: about 20 drops in a 25g cell activator batch.
