Quartz Accuracy is Amazing!

I’m just stunned when I realize how accurate an inexpensive quartz circuit can be for timekeeping. If you thought that being wrong by just 1% would be impressive then how about being wrong by less than 8/10,000ths of one percent? I recently purchased 11 new Casio watches. All are based on the general style of the classic "Diver's Watch" with either a day/date or a date window at the 3:00 position on the dial. The best bargains were sold at the clearance price of just $5 each and the most I paid for a watch in this group was about $84 for a watch featuring solar power. So none of these would be considered an expensive watch. But, at these bargain prices, can I trust these watches to be good timekeepers? They're all quartz watches and the Casio spec sheets say that they should each be accurate to +/- 20 seconds per month. So, is that true? I've started a month-long test and at this midway point the results are starting to look very good. Also, in this video, let's talk a little about quartz accuracy in general.
