This fight will go down as one of the greatest ADCC matches of all time. Garry was relatively unknown at the time but the Jiujitsu world would soon know his name after impressive performances against Kron, Cyborg Abreu and Buchecha. Kron had an amazing performance that year submitting every one of his opponents to become the ADCC -77kg Champion. He won his first match against Andy Wang by Rear Naked Choke and then went on to submit Garry Tonon by RNC in his second match. In the Semi Final Kron submitted JT Torres by Armbar and then finished Otavio Souza by Guillotine in the final. Kron Gracie is one of the few fightersin ADCC to finish all of his opponents by submission.
