Crystal REV 1.0 and 1.1 are two separate versions of the base crystal game. Depending on what version of the game you have, Legacy version 1.1 has versions for you to match Crystal Rev 1.0 and 1.1. 4) You can swap the version 1.1 rom with the 1.0 rom and keep playing the same save file! First, do the patch. Then, simply title the new 1.1 legacy rom the same name as your .sav file and have it replace the 1.0 rom in your Crystal Legacy folder! To reiterate, all you have to do is swap the roms, and your .sav file will keep playing. 5) ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP .sav FILE IN A SEPARATE SPOT! If you corrupt the .sav file, your run is gone.
