WLT Engine Rebuild Ford Courier/Mazda Bravo: Hot & Cold Side + Cylinder Head Removal (Part 1)

G’day guys and welcome to my video! In this series of videos, we focus on a complete engine rebuild of a WLT engine (Mazda Bravo/Bounty, Ford Courier/Ranger) which was originally in the Bravo when which I swapped out with the Courier engine when I rolled the Courier. In part 1 you can see me disassemble/remove the hot & cold sides of the engine as well as remove the cylinder head. We also identify the reason the engine was giving the previous owner so many issues. In part 2 we will focus on disassembling the bottom end of the engine which includes removing the pistons, crank shaft, timing gears and everything attached to the block and then prepping and painting the engine block. As this is my first time rebuilding a WLT this video series is not aimed at been a step-by-step instructional video but more as a general guide to how I went about the process, if you have questions as always, please post them in the comments and I will help as much as I can.
