I Found a Beautiful Campsite Deep In The Woods

09/30/2022 Minnesota This week I headed up to the Foothills State Forest West of Pine River. I found a spot on the cell phone that looked like it was going to work awesome. I pined the location on Google Maps but wouldn't bring me to it. There was no record of the trails existing. Not even the OnX App had them listed. I thought they looked passable from satellite imagery, so I took my chances. When I arrived, I found the main trails to be in fair condition. However, the trail leading back to the dispersed campsite was completely overgrown. I decided to check on a boat landing a mile or so away. All the trials in the area looked like they deadened at the landing. When I got there, I was so happy I didn't push the camper to my original spot. This place was awesome! I had a great time. The leaves are at about 50 percent right now. The next two weeks have to potential to be breathtaking. Thanks for coming along on this week's adventure.
