Virtual tour of our game room, home Theater and arcade room. The Game Room features a 7-foot slate pool table by Imperial, Tornado Classic Foosball table, 50-inch HD TV with Roku stick as well as a few arcade 1 up arcade games: The Simpsons, Ms Pac-Man and Outrun. The room also features a custom built shelf which is home to the Lionel Santa Fe Super Chief train that runs around the perimeter of the room just below the ceiling. The train is the crowning touch of the theme for the game room, Planes, Trains and Automobiles. I plan to add more airplane art but for now the ceiling fan, which is propeller inspired serves as the “planes” portion. There is various artwork around the room of cars and trains currently along with some fun license plates. See if you can figure out what each plate is from. There is also a little Coca-Cola themed pub table in the corner which makes for a great place to sit while waiting for your turn on one of the many games or for the movie to start. Just outside of the custom built barn door into the Home Theater is a popcorn machine and beverage fridge stocked with ice cold pop and water. Inside the Theater you will find a 110-inch screen and an Epson Home Cinema 4K projector. There is seating for 7 in comfortable recliner chairs and the back row is elevated for viewing over the front row. But the highlight of the Theater is the Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 Surround sound system. Due to the small size of the room I didn’t feel the need for a 7.2.4 as that would have been overkill. Visitors to the Theater are blown away by the sound system and the huge screen. Upon exiting the Theater we follow the antique tin style lit sign to the latest basement addition, our new home arcade. Inside this dark room lit by black LED lights you will find a number of Arcade 1Up arcade Cabinets, Virtual pinball machines and a Donkey Kong themed multicade by Arcade Mod Up. The arcade game cabinets are Tron, Tempest,Pac-Man, Big Buck Hunter, Space Invaders and Defender. For the virtual pinball Machines we have the Attack Ftom Mars and Star Wars games. The area rug is black light reactive and eventually we plan to carpet the entire room with it. After leading the arcade we return to the game room and turn off the main overhead lights with Siri and kick on some music and the Govee RGBIC LED lights. The lights are mounted to the bottom of the train shelf and are set to sync with the music. Night Club Achievement has been unlocked! We have been building this out since we moved into our home in 2018 . When we moved in the basement was pretty much unfinished and we have done almost all of the work ourselves. The only thing we didn’t do was install the carpet in the Theater.
