1st time to Dawlish Warren on the Riviera Line which is actually the only station between Exeter St Davids and Newton Abbot I hadn't filmed at before. Featuring services from Great Western Railway and CrossCountry Trains. On the day of filming CrossCountry Trains were running a reduced service due to engineering work between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton via Weston Super Mare which as a result trains would be diverted via Westbury and Bath Spa. The HSTs on GWR were in their final 5 weeks of operations on the GWML although 11 sets will be maintained for use for services between Cardiff Central and Penzance which will be renamed Castle HSTs and run in 4 car formations similar practices to some on Scotrail. 1. Departing Platform 1 is 4 car set formed of 2 two car Class 143 Pacers on a GWR service to Paignton from Exmouth with next stop at Dawlish 2. Arriving on Platform 2 is a 3 car Class 150/0 on a GWR service to Exmouth from Paignton. Eventually on departure it's next stop would be Starcross 3. Passing via the down fast line is a 4 car Class 220 Voyager on a CrossCountry service to Plymouth from York with next stop at Newton Abbot 4. Passing on the up fast line is a 8 car Class 43 HST on a service from Penzance to London Paddington running non stop from Newton Abbot with next stop at Exeter St Davids 5. Arriving on Platform 2 is a 3 car Class 158 on a GWR service from Exeter St Davids to Penzance. On departure it's next stop would be Dawlish 6. Switching to Platform 2 and passing on the Up fast Line is a 8 car set formed of 2 four car Class 220 Voyagers on a CrossCountry service from Plymouth to Edinburgh with next stop at Exeter St Davids 7. Arriving on Platform 2 is a 2 car Class 143 Pacer on a GWR service to Exeter St Davids. Eventually on departure it will run non stop to Exeter St Davids. 8. Arriving on Platform 1 and seeing it for the 3rd time that day having seen it at both Exeter St Thomas and Starcross is a 2 car Class 158 in FGW livery on a GWR service from Exmouth to Paignton. Eventually on departure it's next stop would be Dawlish 9. Passing on the Down Fast Line is a 8 car Class 43 HST on a GWR service from London Paddington to Plymouth with next stop at Newton Abbot 10. Passing on the Up fast line is a 8 car Class 43 HST on a GWR service from Penzance to London Paddington with next stop at Exeter St Davids. 11. Last train in the video passing on the down fast line is a 4 car Class 220 Voyager on a CrossCountry service from Newcastle to Plymouth.
