3-alarms transmitted for this house fire in Northampton County, Pennsylvania

Early Monday evening, Northampton County transmitted the box at 19:05 for reported explosion in an attached garage at 5615 Chenango Drive in East Allen Township, Fire district 46. The communication center was receiving multiple calls. Stations 46 Allen, 45 East Allen, Truck 42 Northampton Boro, Rescue Engine 2 (Catasauqua) and Medic 49 were on the first alarm. At 19:10 hours, the 2nd alarm was transmitted sending Ladder 18 (North Catasauqua), Hanover Tanker 15, Bath Engine 40, Cascade 1442 and Greenawalds Rescue Engine 11 for the designated F.A.S.T. company. At 19:35 hours, the third alarm was struck sending Station 47 Lehigh Twp., 27 Palmer , Lehigh County 5 Coplay and 33 HanLeCo and Medic 17. The garage was engulfed in flames along with the attached shed to the rear. Crews held most of the fire to the garage with some fire and smoke damage to the main house. Debris from the explosion was strewn across the rear yard of the house on side 2 (east) of the garage. #thirdalarm #firefighter #house #fyp #housefire
