Multispecies environmental and reproductive justice must be practiced against human exceptionalism and in resistance to colonial capitalist divisions of species, landscapes, peoples, classes, genders, populations, races, natures, and societies. Easy to say; hard to do. Donna Haraway is Distinguished Professor Emerita in the History of Consciousness Department at the University of California Santa Cruz. This is a Humanities Futures event. From Donna Haraway: Thanks to Susan Harding and Marco Harding for all the research, conversations, references and thinking about diverse Inuit worlds and people, especially about Sila, hunting, relational human&nonhuman personhood through living on the land, and the design of the Wear Qisi/Become Seal in the 8th slide.
