Patreon:   / thomasandstereo   (AFTER POSTING THIS, I REALIZED TIDAL WAS SET TO HALF VOLUME SO NO WONDER I COULD NOT GET IT OVER 80DB WITH THE LUXMAN) I have gotten a few questions on how easy is it to drive the 87db Sibelius so I spent today testing more. 1) Luxman SQ150N 10w can drive it to 70ish DB with ok bass but cannot get over 80db. Although I like the mids and details, I wish the dynamics and bass are better. I would say get something with more power if you wanted to listen to it loud. 2) Doge 10 @ 60w is a way way better match, sounded fantastic and more dynamic. 3) For symphonies, the Mcintosh @ 200w is the best, the Doge 10 was very very decent. The Luxman SQ150N, meh.
