Dexys Demo: "She's Got A Giggle"

We're taking a trip back to the Nineties again today - and yet another of the songs scheduled for the Dexys album that didn't happen. This time it's the song which eventually became "She Got A Wiggle"... While all of the Early-Nineties demos featured drum machines and synths, "She's Got A Giggle" was perhaps the one with the most sophisticated sound and polished production. Featuring some intricate instrumental inter-play and a smooth soulful style, this promised to be one of the stand-out tracks on that long-awaited Dexys album. The song was eventually released on 2012's "One Day I'm Going To Soar" in quite a different guise - and with a more salacious slant to the vocals - aided by the lyrical switch from "she's got a giggle" to "she got a wiggle".
