In honor of the 30th year anniversary of Oasis’ Definitely Maybe Album, I thought I would upload their Monnow Valley Studio recording of my favorite Oasis Song, Slide Away. I don’t remember how I found this recording, but I know that this version has only one other video on YouTube, so why not add another. I believe that amongst all of their songs that were recorded at that studio, this recording is the only one that was mixed and made it to the final album. There is so much to enjoy and focus on in this version of the song: Noel’s backup vocals, Tony’s drums, Guigsy’s smooth bass, a young Liam’s pitch, Bonehead’s rhythm, and just the overall purity of Oasis’ sound. Nevertheless, I hope you all enjoy and listen to it as many times as you’d like. Be sure to drop a like and share so others can find it as well.
